Entries are free of charge and are open to any resident within the boundaries of Royal Tunbridge Wells (including Hawkenbury).

Since the launch in 2010 there has been only one rule: entries must be visible from the streets.

25 March 2021 - Update due to the ongoing situation with COVID-19
Following last year's 10th anniversary of Royal Tunbridge Wells in Bloom 2020
this summer the RTW in Bloom 2021 competition will re-open for business,
and as before will take place for residential, visible from the street only
(NO back gardens).
That is the plan at the moment but obviously should the strict pandemic restrictions return in the summer some changes might be necessary.

 

Please choose from the following categories:

Residential:

  • Best planter/tub/container
  • Best front patio/balcony
  • Best front garden
  • Best wildlife garden
  • Best allotment
  • Best street/flats
Commercial:
  • Best cafe/pub/club
  • Best shop front
  • Best community allotment/garden
  • Best business ground
  • Best basket/planter


Each entrant will receive a voucher from Coolings Garden Centres
(for Wych Cross Garden Centre in the Ashdown Forest and Knockholt).

COMPETITION RESULTS of the 'BEST' CATEGORIES
During the Coronavirus lockdown period and until end of June 2020,
122 local competition entries (residental) were received and judged.
The LOCAL AWARDS Ceremony on Tuesday 16 September 2020 at the Assembly Hall had to be cancelled due to government restrictions.
